Giorgio Lorenzi
Born in Milan, he studied at Istituto Europeo di Design, trained at
G&R Associati practice and got a Master of Advanced Training in
Jewellery Design at Politecnico di Milano. He also attended,
choosing a continuous and shared way of learning, the Scuola Orafa
Ambrosiana where he learned and taught for years.

Professional visual designer since 1980, when he was very young
and still student, in the late Seventies, he went working at G&R
Associati, historical graphic studio in Milan. In particular, under
Giorgio Fioravanti's guide, he followed projects for important clients,
such as Condè Nast, GS Supermercati, Industrie Zanussi, Letraset
Italia, Brionvega, Bilumen, Cartiere del Garda, ENI, IP Industria
Italiana Petroli, Mazzotta Editore, Teatro alla Scala di Milano,
Recordati, Rodriquez, Teatro Carcano, Fratelli Fabbri Editori.
He deals with corporate image, publishing graphic and exhibit design.
In 1988 he founded Doppiouni with Giovanna Vitale.

For AIAP was regional delegate and representative in degree boards
of the Faculty of Design at Politecnico di Milano.

Teaching, he taught Visual communication, for six years, at the
Faculty of Design at Politecnico di Milano and he is still expert on the
subject. He taught at Accademia di Comunicazione of Milan, Scuola
Politecnica di Design of Milan, Istituto Superiore di Design of Naples
and Istituto Superiore di Comunicazione of Milan.

Publications, between 2004 and 2005 he published, as a co-author,
five books on the visual design: "Grammatica del comunicare", Lupetti.

Jewelry design, he founded the working group "iLorenzi"

Current activities, he carries out different activities, such as
theoretical research, teaching and working in the field of visual
communication, of technical and practical goldsmith and jewelry
design. He currently teaches at Scuola Orafa Ambrosiana in Milan.
